Fitness should improve your life. Not take it over.

I’m Valentine Rawat, though most people call me Val. I’ve worked in the fitness industry for more than two decades, helping people become stronger, healthier and more confident in their bodies without turning their lives upside down in the process.

Over the years I’ve explored everything from martial arts and bodybuilding to kettlebells, strength training and conditioning methods. Some trends were useful. Some deserved to be quietly escorted out the building.

What matters is finding an approach that works for you, your body and your life.

My coaching is built around sustainable progress, intelligent training and honest conversations. No punishment. No extremes. No pretending you need to survive on kale smoothies and sadness to get results.

Whether your goal is fat loss, strength, rebuilding confidence after injury, improving performance or simply feeling better day to day, training is tailored to where you are now and where you want to get to.

Sessions are designed to challenge you without intimidating you. I’ll push when needed, support when needed and occasionally remind you that burpees were probably invented by someone holding a grudge against humanity.

After more than 25 years in the industry, one thing has become very clear: most people don’t need more guilt or motivation. They need structure, consistency and an approach they can actually sustain.

Alongside coaching, I continue to study strength training, nutrition and psychology to ensure clients receive practical, evidence-informed guidance grounded in the real world, not fitness industry theatre.

“Valentine is unquestionably one of the best personal trainers and physical therapist in the UK. He is a master of fitness motivation and possesses a rare combination of deep fitness knowledge and a terrific ability to communicate what will change your perspective on fitness. His insights are highly valued by the fitness industry and now in the media, and his live presentations and workshops are not to be missed. In Jan 2012 Valentine was hired for SKY1 show Obese: A YEAR TO SAVE MY LIFE as the personal trainer for Jack Gorny and with expert guidance lost close to 12 stones. Following his success with Jack, he was recalled for the second series to train Sarah Le Broq in a show called FAT: A FIGHT FOR MY LIFE.” Eyeworks Production Team
